"This is hopefully going to crash..."
It's not always that reassuring to hear the programmers talk about the game.

Challenges!
There's no need to worry, however! We have only been even more busy than usual over the summer. We're really excited to finish Mip's Madness (it's been taking a little bit too long...) now that we're finally back in business again!
We're just about finishing up the "Challenge mode" maps, as well as fixing bugs and other issues that need to be fixed before it's perfect enough to let you play it!

Friend #7
Steve "Moonbaby" Johnson is t he 7th and final friend of Mip, our teal awesome hero.
This guy is the personal favorite of the entire Yellow Shirt crew. I think. It probably is, anyway.
Steve doesn't like to move. He likes to go with the flow. A truly free spirit!
Bounce to the moon, baby!

Raspberry Pi Server
It may not look like much... sitting there in its plastic cookie jar home. But this is basically where the action happens. This is the Raspberry Pi that makes up Yellow Shirt's server.
We have had some trouble with servers crashing and stuff like that. So, instead of storing all Mip's Madness files in one of our programmer's older brother's closet, we decided to move them to this cookie jar. Since we haven't actually made any money what so ever yet we decided that we couldn't afford a proper Raspberry Pi casing for roughly 130 SEK (15 EUR, 19 USD, 13 GBP). Anyway, this old jar does the job just as well, right?
Oh well, it is one of many baby steps towards what will hopefully someday be something awesome!
Peace!

DOG!
Oh, hi! I didn't quite see you there! So. We're making this new game, right? We don't actually have a name just quite yet, but it's pretty much almost done... the basics are done and it's quite fun to play already, but we need to smooth out some bumps before we release it! :)
This is the main (and probably the only) character of this new game of ours. Anyway, here's an opportunity for you to help give this dog of ours a spanking new personality of his/her own! Bring it on! Throw us your ideas! What makes this dog tick? What's its name? What should the game be called? Comment here or on our facebook page!

Penny for your thoughts!
We have been thinking about and planning upcoming apps for a really long time, while developing Mip's Madness. We have quite a few good ideas in store, but my lips are sealed on the deets for now!
Anyways, we would like to hear what you think about apps/games you've used in the past. What has been good, what has been crappy? Have you ever wanted to give pointers to app developers? What should be in an app, what should NOT be in an app? Do you have a great idea for an app that you've always wanted somebody to make? This is the kind of stuff we want to hear from you!
I will post a link to this post on facebook as well, if you would like to comment there instead.
Take care, peeps!

A word from the main programmer
Hi!
I'm Magnus, the main programmer. Besides programming (and fixing bugs introduced by our other programmer), I'm also more or less in charge of our Twitter account #YellowShirtGame
Before reading further, take your time to click on the link above and follow us on twitter. (Note. it wasn't a suggestion, it's mandatory to follow us on Twitter)

Interdasting speech
I just watched this speech and found it interesting enough to post it here! His thoughts on "how to make it" are really interesting. I also hope he's right because that means that we'll succeed with this company in a few years...

The rantings of a limited sound designer
Limitations! Why don't we have all the money, software and microphones in the world? And a foley studio, I'd love that. But no, apparently we're living in "the real world".
Right now I'm working in Logic, with the built in plug-ins and the sound toys native effects plug-in pack that I already before we started this company. No sample library either, I've mostly either had to make my own samples in my bedroom at home or taken from the sample library that's bundled with Logic Pro. At least the sound toys plug-ins are amazing for making something sound completely different from what it was in the beginning. I never understood some of those weird presets when mixing music, but for making some weird noises sound like somebody poking a cartoonish balloon or something similar, some really far out settings on some of the sound toys plug-ins are awesome. I think I used PhaseMistress for the balloons actually. If anyone would care, which I doubt.
Our limited resources for sound design bundled together with the fact that we are just five people working on this means that I have to do so much more than just sound design. I really hope we can get some money out of our first project so that we can at least buy a decent sample library. I just noticed that the general 6000 library isn't that expensive.. That still won't give me more time to make awesome sounds, but at least I'll be able to use Pro Tools, now I need to use Logic because of the sample library. Oh how I miss Pro Tools...
The best part of this is, I love everything about this project anyhow. I love the fact that I basically have zero samples, zero plug-ins and no good studio to record sound effects in. I love that I get to do other stuff aswell, like level design and bitching about the programmers ruining everything. Working in a small team is awesome, especially when you feel that the product is turning out even better than we thought it would.
So yeah, I have no idea what I just wrote or why. But I wrote it so I suppose I'll hit the "publish" button now.

Full time job, please!
4 of 5 people in our cute little group of game-/appmakers are full-time students, which sort of makes it impossible to put as much time into developing Mip's Madness as we would have hoped/liked. It would be awesome to actually make some money off of this project of ours in the future, so that we can focus on making awesome apps/games to a THOUSAND BILLION PERCENT!
So keep supporting us by... like... reading our blogg and liking us on facebook... and hopefully soon, actually buying our stuff! :D
Peace! Take care.
Yours awesomely,
Björn

Free ultra realistic fighting game!
Happy new year! I have a treat for you - a free game!
This is the most realistic fighting game ever made, and I am *GASP* giving it away for free! Wow! Amazing!
Here is how it's done: Take your phone of choice and put it on a table with some kind of text editor running. Now all competitors go 10 meters from the phone. Someone has to count down, and then you start, the first one to write his or her name on the phone wins.
The phone could be exchanged for whatever you can write your name on and with.
You're welcome!
/Hannes
